Travis Atkinson, MS, LPC, has worked in health and human services for the past 20 years as a clinician, trainer, supervisor, advocate, and consultant. He has spoken at state and national conferences as a subject matter expert in mental health systems, radical hospitality, and effective management and leadership practices.  As a musician and performing songwriter, Travis finds comfort on the stage as an entertainer and troubadour, having recorded 6 albums over the past 15 years.  He received his BA from the University of Michigan and his Master’s degree in Community Counseling from National-Louis University. Travis lives in Grand Rapids, MI, with his wife and three daughters. He is also the host of The Crisis Podcast.
